For the Spring/Summer 2016, Julien Fournie brings us to the Premier Paradise – a tropical island inhabited by the glamorous sirens whose image is greatly influenced by the 70s with the pussy bows, bright and bold colours, flower prints and just enough shimmer to take anyone back to the disco era. Deep V necks, big hair, purples, blues and pinks – strengthen the essence of being on a set of a Charlie’s Angels movie.
The Caribbean theme is also very prominently present through the large tropical plant prints, feathers and bright orange, green and blue hues. At times, the collection seems to put one in the middle of a carnival, that is being watched in slow motion. Julien Fournié‘s SS16 collection is vibrant, nostalgic yet refreshing, emotional and still incredibly cohesive.
