Easter treats have a famously magical twist, as Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort presents a fantastical ‘Willy Wonka Afternoon Tea’, crafted by renowned Dutch pâtisserie, Marike Van Beurden on 15, 16 and 17 April 2017.

The uniquely charming afternoon tea is a dreamlike feast for all the senses, immersing the whole family in the much loved crazy world of the movie ‘Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory’, adapted from the book ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ by the highly imaginative children’s author Rohald Dahl.

“Inspired by this beloved classic story, the terrace of The Lotus Lounge will transform into an eccentric, colourful fairytale, overlooking the shimmering waters of the Arabian Gulf” explains the Executive Chef, Maurice Fitzgerald.

The delightful Afternoon Tea features an indulgent array of finger sandwiches and freshly baked scones, along with a fine selection of Willy Wonka chocolates and sweets. Promising a star studded culinary offering, the extraordinary afternoon tea is hosted by Guest Dutch Chef Marike van Beurden, a highly distinguished pâtisserie, with accolades such as Dutch Chocolate Master 2013 and Hong Kong Tatler Best Restaurants’ Best Pastry Chef 2015.
