Italian luxury women’s wear label Luisa Spagnoli has opened its latest store in The Dubai Mall, Dubai. With a full collection of Spring/Summer 2016 classic pieces, the Luisa Spagnoli woman welcomes the season by taking a look back at the 70s, to which she adds her own modern twist. Boho chic is back, as suede waistcoats with cowgirl fringes are matched with slim-fit flared jeans with Alcantara details. Mini dresses and short A-line skirts feature next to floral print smock dresses, kaftans, ankle-length skirts and palazzo pants–with ethnic prints, in true hippie style. A warm colour palette is apparent throughout the collection, with shades of tobacco, cognac and sand on the must-have fabric of the 70s–super-soft suede–while ochre yellow, denim blue and military green add additional depth.

In the cruise line, inspiration comes from the Navy with strong nautical influences. Striped jumpers in the classic red, white and blue, sit alongside high-waisted flared trousers with golden buttons, pea coats and double-breasted regimental jackets in piqué cotton. The soul of the brand is expressed in denim, which acquires a new central role. The fits of five-pocket jeans multiply: the new flared, bell-bottomed and cropped models add to the existing skinny and boyfriend styles. Tracksuits are renewed with the delavè denim fabric, which is set to become the new must-have of the season.
