Princess Eugenie's Wedding: Everything You Need To Know

From the date and the dress, to the attendees, here’s everything you need to know about the wedding of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank.

Princess Eugenie of York will wed her long-time boyfriend Jack Brooksbank on Friday, October 12th 2018. Although the pair have opted for an autumn wedding- the timings are expected to closely follow those at the wedding of her cousin Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, with the ceremony beginning at midday.

Where will Princess Eugenie be married?

Princess Eugenie will be married at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, the same venue at which the Duke and Duchess of Sussex got married in May. The chapel has hosted several royal weddings over the years, including that of Prince Edward and Sophie Rhys-Jones, as well as Lady Helen Windsor and Timothy Taylor

Who will design Princess Eugenie’s wedding dress?

There has already been much speculation regarding Princess Eugenie’s wedding dress. There is a lot of assumption it is British-based designer. The Princess has long been a fan of Erdem. She wore a silk organza dress by the designer on the day she announced her engagement to Brooksbank at Buckingham Palace, sparking rumours that he would design her wedding dress. Other names believed to be in the running include Vivienne Westwood, who designed her ensemble for the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and Ralph & Russo, who designed the Duchess of Sussex’s gown for her engagement photos.

Who will Princess Eugenie’s bridesmaids be?

Princess Eugenie has already revealed that her sister Beatrice will be her maid of honour come October. However, her other bridesmaids are likely to include Princess Charlotte, who has served as a member of the bridal party for both Pippa Middleton and the Duchess of Sussex’s weddings. There is reports going around that Theodora Rose Williams, the 5-year-old daughter of Robbie Williams and Ayda Field, will join the group. Williams is reportedly close friends with Eugenie and Beatrice.

Who will attend Princess Eugenie’s wedding?

All senior members of the royal family are expected to attend Princess Eugenie’s wedding, including the Queen, Prince Charles, her father Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, and Princess Eugenie’s mother, Sarah Ferguson. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are set to attend alongside the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Princess Eugenie is also close friends with Ellie Goulding and Cara Delevingne, who are expected to attend.

What does Princess Eugenie’s engagement ring look like?

Princess Eugenie’s engagement ring contains an oval cut Padparadscha sapphire surrounded by diamonds and set on a yellow gold band. It is similar in style to the ring her father Prince Andrew presented to Sarah Ferguson upon their engagement, which centred on a red ruby. The central grapefruit-hued sapphire is commonly found in Sri Lanka.

Which Tiara will she wear?

It’s also tradition for a royal bride to choose a tiara from her family’s collection. In May, the Duchess of Sussex wore Queen Mary’s diamond bandeau tiara, lent to her by the Queen. It is likely that Princess Eugenie will opt for the York diamond tiara. Made especially for her mother Sarah Ferguson by jewellers Garrard & Co., it was given to her as a gift from the Queen and Prince Philip, to be worn on her wedding day in 1986.
