Fusing fashion with art, New York based unisex label, Haculla, is best recognised for its graffiti-adorned motifs and streetwear inspired collections. Pairing the work of artist Harif Guzman, with the designs of Tykoon Brand Holding’s owner and creative director Jonathan Koon, Haculla has gained a celebrity following since its inception.

The Haculla SS 2018 Collection celebrates a lost generation from New York City history. The collection embodies the post hardcore/punk movement from the late 80’s and early 90’s.  Harif Guzman, has conceptualized this era through an array of “lost” images. The collection rejects materialistic representations of this period in New York City history through a distillation of rarely seen photographs combined with Guzman’s distinct visual signature. This collection has been plastered with Guzman’s thoughts addressing the anonymity of the era and reflecting on this time period as a dark age in history that is rarely talked about, in turn bringing about awareness through Guzman’s iconic motifs.

Exclusive to Harvey Nichols, Dubai, the brand’s capsule collection debuted in an interactive fashion presentation event, in partnership with Al Tayer Motors at FN Designs, Alserkal Avenue, Al Quoz.  Harif Guzman painted a Jaguar F-Pace- the award-winning performance crossover from the iconic British brand, in his signature aesthetic. The car was on display at the event, alongside an array of his diverse designs, it was also showcased at the Al Tayer Motors Jaguar showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai from 1st- 4th of March.

Haculla is available in the Men’s Contemporary Department, Second Floor of Harvey Nichols, Mall of the Emirates.
