Today, Gucci officially introduces the Arabic version of its E-Commerce site in the United Arab Emirates, and launches the e-commerce website in Saudi Arabia, both in English and Arabic. The full collection, from handbags and shoes to ready-to-wear and accessories is now available for purchase online.
The addition of Arabic to the UAE E-Commerce website brings a new level of localisation to an existing e-commerce website, enabling customers to browse all products and shop in their native language.
The introduction of the Saudi Arabia E-Commerce website, in both Arabic and English, offers a full shopping experience and is designed to provide consumers with better access to Gucci’s products, with no restrictions resulting from store locations or business opening hours. At its core, the e-commerce site blends brand and product storytelling with a smart shopping experience. Throughout the site, rich imagery creates an engaging visually-led narrative that culminates in the Stories section. This editorial area is a compelling exploration into the inspirations behind the House’s collections, and provides an exclusive insight into the world of Gucci.
- Gucci Runway in English Language – UAE Site
This integrated approach between content and commerce has already proven effective in North America, Europe, Korea, Japan, Australia and China, where the newly-designed websites launched between October 2015 and June 2017. The re-thought site architecture and content has seen visitors exhibiting a deeper engagement in their interaction with the online elements, both in terms of pages visited and engagement on the site. With the online site as the hub, the specially created content is then extended to all of the brand’s other digital touch points, creating a cohesive and consistent image and narrative.
The fully responsive site (optimised to fit all screen sizes) reflects today’s dynamic digital environment. With almost 70% of global traffic coming from smart phones, the site design offers a simple mobile-like scrolling experience across devices, allowing visitors to explore runway collections, signature items and special capsule collections in an intuitive manner. Both UAE and Saudi Arabia are among the highest mobile-driven markets.
- Gucci Stories in Arabic- GCC Site
As a digital pioneer, Gucci now has an E-Commerce presence in the USA, Canada, the UK, Italy, Ireland, France, to Germany, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, Sweden, as well as Norway, Denmark, Finland, the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, to Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Turkey, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Korea, Australia and China.
