The new Ermenegildo Zegna Eyewear collection for Autumn/Winter 2018-2019, produced and distributed by the Marcolin Group, revolves around four important clusters that create a direct link to the world of Zegna. The first is the ‘Chevron’, the iconic texture used for Zegna fabrics and reinterpreted by personalizing the pins of the frame front and the metal temples. The second is the ‘Shape’, which traces the outline of the models in the collection and plays on the use of well-defined angles and large volumes. The third concept, ‘Vicuña’, is the colour that identifies all the models, and which can be seen on the metal bridges or temples. Finally, the ‘Touch’, translated with the use of saffian effect leather or a scratched look on the end pieces, are technical methods which create an extremely sophisticated tactile effect.
The sunglasses feature a simple, straight-line designs, yet constructed with important aesthetic and technical details that strengthen and individualize their identity.
