The Roberto Cavalli Spring/Summer 2019 advertising campaign exudes poignant physicality. Kendall Jenner is the protagonist of bold images shot by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, who lensed the American supermodel immersed in the natural environment for an intriguing sense of nomadic exoticism.
Sunburned shrubs and sand offer the background for the pictures and video, where Kendall Jenner, along with male model and Luka Isaac, are portrayed in dynamic, energetic and powerful poses communicating a sense of charming strength and sensuality.
The images’ warm tones and tactile feel exalt the richness of the Roberto Cavalli Spring/Summer 2019 collection designed by the brand’s creative director Paul Surridge. Prints, textures and precious ornaments appearing on both the impeccable tailored styles and the embroidered knitted designs stand out, putting the accent on the fashion house’s signature high-end craftsmanship. Cuts and silhouettes evoke a vibrant athleticism. Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott also took intense portraits of Kendall Jenner wearing iconic styles from the Roberto Cavalli Eyewear line, produced and distributed by Marcolin. “We had the honor to work with a stellar team this season, perfectly interpreting the most authentic spirit of the brand,” says Paul Surridge. “Mert & Marcus deeply captured the sensual and physical attitude of the collection, which was exalted by Kendall’s exuberant and powerful hyper feminine personality.” The Roberto Cavalli Spring/Summer 2019 advertising campaign will make its official debut in international fashion publications February 2019. The video and images will also appear across the luxury’s brand digital platforms, including the recently re-launched robertocavalli.com Website and social media.
