With the aim to plant strong leadership skills in the UAE’s business community, the First International Business (TFIB) hosted their first ever event Lead2Succeed, at the Conrad Hotel, Dubai, on August the 7th. The event’s objective was to help inspire and bring value to young leaders in the UAE. The prestigious conference, hosted New York Times best-selling author, John C. Maxwell along with Emirati author and entrepreneur, Omar Al Busaidy, and Maria da Conceiçao, founder of Maria Cristina Foundation.

Over 100 participants from the public and media were present, where they got the opportunity to meet the speakers along with a variety of activities and challenges. They learnt and got inspired by each one of the speakers’ story. The aim of Lead2Succeed is to help people understand how they can contribute to their own success as well as the people around them through leadership. It is important for the younger generation to understand there is always potential to grow and to learn.

Commenting on the event, Mrs. Lurdes Eusébio, CEO of TFIB and Lead2Succeed said, “To bring John C. Maxwell to the UAE has been a dream come true. I believe the leaders in this country are keen to absorb knowledge and everything that will contribute to the progress and success of the UAE.”
