Giuseppe Zanotti’s AW 18/19 women’s collection presents a new interpretation of the intrinsic style that has continuously set the brand apart.

Whilst seemingly contradictory and irreverent, the new designs have a distinctly consistent approach, which provides the defining characteristics for the collection.  The collection defies the dictatation of traditional fashion rules and evokes contemporary society’s constantly evolving equilibriums. Women are thus free to break from stereotypes, revealing their innate versatility with bold attitude.

Crystals, plexi-glass and purple feather detailing boldly adorn suede sandals. Soft stretch nappa leathers feel like a second skin and are paired with a multi-faceted gold and steel ice-cube heel for a luxurious look.  The ‘Bonjour Nuit’ slipper skilfully conjures a theatrical feel, conveying the playful attitude of a woman with a seductive aura by day and night.

The designs are glamorous and versatile: the cropped booties become boots, and shoes are turned into pants, allowing for the freedom and absence of rules- synonymous with the boundary-pushing luxury aesthetic of Giuseppe Zanotti. Black takes centre stage this season, embellished by detailing in electric blue, purple and mirror-effect silver and gold, highlighting subtle reflections. Modern stretch materials feel sophisticated and elegant.

Sneakers become couture objects. Stretch metallic materials and ultra-modern soles give a nod to a new era of luxe sports footwear.  Embroidered velvet blends the boundaries between glamorous and informal, perfecting the dualism of day to evening dressing.
