It is impossible to sum up the latest Zuhair Murad show in one word or even a sentence; the man is a genius who is definitely surrounded by an incredible team who work tirelessly to create pieces that are an artwork by itself. The SS16 show felt like a carnival of fairies, princesses and queens dressed to kill. From the large overblown gowns to organza skirts and birdcage dresses-this collection is as Haute Couture as it gets.

Every single garment is unique, impossible to replicate and probably required a few days, if not weeks, to complete. There was lace, embroidery, golden sandals, gorgeous headpieces and a bridal finale that would probably make most of the female population want to get married just so they could wear the gown. As we said, it is impossible to describe Zuhair Murad’s SS16 Haute Couture collection without coming off as overly-excited fans, but we can should say that we are definitely fans of his work and look forward to the next season.
