Gia Dubai, embodies the concept of good living (La Dolce Vita) with an exceptionally authentic all-day dining Italian menu and a contemporary design by award-winning firm Hecker Guthrie. The design references Italy in the 1950s, with a comprehensive 21st century makeover.

The simplicity of the monochromatic design, contrasts with accents in warm Mediterranean hues. From a design perspective, Hecker Guthrie has brought to Gia Dubai the “architecture within architecture” concept. Murano-inspired dividing glass screens sit around the kitchen creating a dramatic glow box that also allows guests visual views into what their chefs are creating. The restaurant’s bar is set within a white frame set with geometrical concrete patterns that add urban expression to its light and airy space.  The Italian management of the restaurant infuses authenticity to the experience, while ensuring service is personal and fuelled with excellence. Music plays a prominent part in adding joy to the dining experience, with a carefully curated playlist that is reminiscent of good times, whilst also allowing memorable moments to be shared in the present.

Despite its contemporary design, Gia’s focus remains firmly on traditional Italian ‘trattoria’ style recipes and presentation. Hand-picked ingredients of the finest quality bring a genuine, true Italian heritage and flavour to the menu, especially crafted for Gia Dubai by Tuscany’s own Tommaso Gonfiantini. The menu itself pays homage to the classics, while situating itself firmly in today’s modern Italian dining- balancing the rustic with the avant-garde.

Indulgent comfort food classics that are hard to resist, such as the Lasagne, is given an extra dimension of flavour with a secret blend of cheese fondue. Passion shines through a range of signature appetizer dishes such as the Fegatini Di Pollo. Whereas the mains feature the Ossobuco E Risotto Alla Milanese- a veal shank and bone marrow, which is complemented with a saffron risotto, and inspired by local flavours. No true Italian would be complete without freshly prepared pizza, that is created with an unwavering focus for genuine flavour and textures. The pizza flour is imported from Italy, to create a perfectly crispy base, that is topped with artisanal fresh ingredients. To beautifully finish off the meal, Chef Tommaso has deliberately kept the deserts nostalgic, yet full of flavour, with traditional Profiteroles Nutella and Nocciole, we truly believe all the dishes will be favourites, as we loved them.

Gia Dubai, the dolce vita, is the new Italian restaurant, located at The New Fashion Avenue, within The Dubai Mall- which brings food and fashion together, fabulously.
