Dolce&Gabbana Velvet Collection introduces Velvet Pure, a new fragrance inspired by the Reseda ower; a fragrant and herbaceous plant found growing in the Mediterranean. With its unique green crystalline oralcy, Velvet Pure is an homage to the art of traditional perfumery.

With a name inspired by the scent’s pure, green oral quality, this Floral Fresh Floral fragrance is de ned by the Reseda ower, a oral ingredient missing from scent creation in recent decades.

An Accord built from Galbanum, Jasmine and Cistus Labdanum come together as different notes within the fragrance composition to reintroduce the Reseda ower’s unique crisp and green oral tones back into perfumery.

An unusual combination of two resins creates the translucent bloom of the Reseda ower. Precious and natural Galbanum from Iran de nes the unmistakably leafy greenness, whilst warm Cistus Labdanum brings an earthy depth and texture.

The Jasmine facet of the scent is driven by Jasmin Alcoolat, which offers an open, airy quality reminiscent of the nostalgic green trail of a oral bouquet.

A Fig Leaf Accord supports the two resins in driving a crisp freshness, which recalls the scent of Reseda petals.

Narcissus and Jonquille Absolutes evoke the refreshing raw, yet sweet-smelling scent of the Reseda oral in bloom.

Additional notes of North African Neroli and Geranium emphasise this rich orally.

The full green bloom is extended and enriched by a long-lasting dry down of Haitian Vetiver and Orris Butter that brings a pure green earthiness to this signature scent.
