For Michael Kors, fashion is strength, to be shared far and wide. So this year, the designer’s Fall 2017 runway show presentation, scheduled for 10 AM on Wednesday, February 15, will be livestreamed from Spring Studios in NYC on an unprecedented range of platforms, starting with michaelkors.com and including YouTube Live, Facebook Live and, in a first for a fashion brand, on Twitter at michaelkors.twitter.com.

“A live runway show is the ultimate combination of fashion and theater, two of my favorite things,” says Michael Kors. “To be able to share that with people everywhere, and give them a front-row seat wherever they are and however they want to watch, whether at home, at their desk or on the go, is fantastic.”

Other features designed to amplify the Fashion Week experience for customers include:

Ready-To-Wear, Ready To Go: For the third time, Michael Kors has edited a select group of just-off-the-runway styles for his customers to purchase on the day of the show. The capsule includes ready-to-wear, handbags and shoes, and the items will be available for purchase on michaelkors.com in the US, at the brand’s stores at 790 Madison Avenue and 384 Bleecker Street, and for the first time, on Instagram.

Shoppable Street Style: Michael Kors and Instagram are teaming up with some of the house’s favorite fashion influencers to launch the industry’s first Shoppable Street Style collaboration. Fans in the US will be able to shop the Spring 2017 looks worn to the show by Harley Viera-Newton, Gala Gonzalez, Sistine Stallone and Yoyo Cao directly from Instagram. Following the show, customers can also see the looks and shop them on michaelkors.com.

Kors Commute: This season’s pre-show experience, called “Kors Commute,” is a mini web series featuring Michael in a limo talking with various industry insiders as he preps for New York Fashion Week. In the first of three videos, Michael shares a backseat cocktail with Harley Viera-Newton. Next up is an early morning ride with Taylor Hill, and last but certainly not least is a trip with his friend Nina Garcia. The series begins on February 12 on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

Behind-The-Scenes and Front Row Snapchat Stories: Follow “MichaelKors” on Snapchat and get a glimpse at the backstage happenings, chat with top models, hear from Michael and share in the always-high pre-show energy. Followers will also receive a front-row view of the show courtesy of DJ/entrepreneur/designer Harley Viera-Newton, who will be taking over the Michael Kors Snapchat account upon her arrival at Spring Studios. In addition, guests can snap with a Michael Kors NYFW Geofilter.
