We’ve caught up with Dree for a quick chat to get to know her a little better.

How do you feel about being the new face of Chloé ?
It’s a huge honor. I’ve always admired the women who have filled the role before me and hope I can inspire as they did.

What does Chloé represent for you?
Chloé represents a free spirit, the natural beauty inside and out. She is understated, yet glamorous. She is Paris.

How was it to work with Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin?
Inez and Vinoodh are family. It’s a breath of fresh air to work with them.

How did you feel about working with Jordan Scott?
Jordan is a beautiful filmmaker. She doesn’t miss a beat. I hope this is the first of more to come for her and I.

What is your definition of beauty ?
Beauty is only how you shine from the inner being out.

What is your beauty routine ? Any beauty secrets ?
Weekly workout routine (ballet beautiful for me), Vitamin C, lots of water, I rarely wash my face with water. I normally use an astringent or witch hazel. I travel so much that my face can’t handle a constant change of water. I only shampoo once a week and then the rest of the time I just wash with conditioner. Smile and laugh everyday, life’s not worth a serious face.

What beauty product do you always carry in your purse and why ?
I always have Weleda Skin Food, it’s great for anything dry lips, hands, face. I also carry a red lipstick, just in case.

What’s currently playing on your iPod ?
Kate Bush and Tupac.

What is your favorite little indulgence?
I love creme brûlée.

I’m inspired by the outdoors.
