Leading luxury fashion retailer Boutique 1 announces the opening of its debut London store. Situated at 127-128 Sloane Street, the luxury 12,000 square feet store will extend over two floors and will include areas dedicated to ready-to-wear, accessories, eveningwear, beachwear, fine jewelry, gifting and books. The store will also house a café created by Pablo Flack and David Waddington of Bistrotheque for Boutique 1, incorporating outdoor seating in the courtyard terrace. The store forms an integral part of the redevelopment of the Sloane Street area by Cadogan Estates.
“We are very proud to open our first London store in Sloane Street – it is one of the premier shopping destinations in the world. With our unique approach to fashion and emphasis on luxury service, we feel that Boutique 1 brings a fresh point of view to the area. With its café, courtyard and entrances on Sloane Street and Pavilion Road, we hope to create a premier fashion destination that is at the very heart of the local community.” says Ziad Matta, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Boutique 1 Group.
Over the past decade Boutique 1 has built a reputation for offering unparalleled service and curated luxury fashion with a distinctive point of view at its network of multi-brand stores and online boutique. Brands available at the new Sloane Street store will include London designers Erdem, Peter Pilotto, Roland Mouret and Roksanda; as well as other coveted designers including Proenza Schouler, Missoni, Elie Saab, Rosetta Getty, Rosie Assoulin, Rochas, Anthony Vaccarello, Monse and Spencer Vladimir.
With customer service underpinning the Boutique 1 experience, the store will offer a personal styling team, in house complimentary tailoring, VIP fitting room and a same-day delivery service available throughout London. As part of Boutique 1’s omni-channel shopping proposition, the store will also fulfill a click and collect service for orders placed online at Boutique1.com and will collate items from stores in other locations for customers to try on. Boutique 1 also operates an omni-channel Loyalty program enabling customers to earn and redeem rewards across Boutique 1 stores and online.
Boutique 1 will also re-launch its global e-commerce site to coincide with the London opening. The new mobile-optimised site will offer an enhanced online customer experience with features such as same day London delivery and unrivalled fashion insider content.
In keeping with Boutique 1’s global store concept, the aesthetic for the London store is understated and discreetly luxurious. Natural materials are used throughout the interior, providing a quiet backdrop that allows the products to take centre stage. The colour palette is neutral, with accents of matte black and brushed brass appearing on doors, stair railings and display fixtures whilst oak and unpolished travertine flooring as well as sandblasted limestone walls add natural texture. Furniture within the store has been carefully considered to create an at home feel and includes chairs and oversized benches upholstered in natural linens for a lived in look.
