Following on the existing long-term collaboration with Adidas which initially launched in Spring Summer 2005, Stella McCartney puts her twist on Adidas’ iconic Stan Smith.

Leather-free and suitable for vegetarians, and without sacrificing on style or straying from the original design, Stella #stansmith reflects Stella McCartney’s signature details. Paying homage to Stan Smith, his face remains printed on the tongue of the right shoe while Stella’s portrait and signature adorn the left foot.

Stella stars in stripes replace the signature Adidas three stripes and are stamped running down the sides. The designer’s logo alongside the recognizable burgundy and blue stripe bands are found at the heel.

As a lifelong vegetarian, Stella McCartney doesn’t use any leather or fur in her designs and has been committed to cruelty fashion. Stella #stansmith is the first ever vegetarian leather Stan Smith sneaker created in collaboration with Adidas, and will be available in stores on September 10th in celebration of Stella’s birthday that week.

Sizes will range for both women and men, in Stella McCartney stores, online, and at select retailers worldwide at a retail price of $325.
