Mon Guerlain is a concentrate of genuine human relations and emotions experienced and shared from the field to the laboratory, by those who ensure that they create with “authenticity”.

For five generations, the Guerlain perfumer has embodied the history of perfumery and been an integral part of it. He explores the planet in search of rare raw ingredients, invents bold new accords and has created over 1,100 fragrances. For Thierry Wasser, the fifth Guerlain perfumer who has orchestrated the olfactory score of Guerlain’s new perfume for women: “Like my predecessors before me, I am guided in my work by a passion for beautiful workmanship, admiration for craftsmanship expertise, authentic encounters and sincere emotions.”

Since Aimé Guerlain, who travelled himself to Russia at the end of the 19th century, to look for his birch essence and leather, their supply channels are developed, and based on long-term relationships of trust. Today, they procure their raw ingredients from men and women whom they have met and whom the Perfumer has got to know well over time. This is why each of their raw ingredients over and above its intrinsic quality, has an emotional dimension that is revealed and comes into its own when it is worked with respect for their values.

“With Mon Guerlain, I wanted to pay homage to these free, powerful notions, through enchanting and sensual vanilla. It is a beloved raw ingredient for Guerlain perfumers, as well as a note that embodies both sensuality and motherhood, for women. Australian sandalwood forms the backbone; it is a solid yet supple wood that is present but not overbearing, a wood that reflects inner richness and structures the entire composition.” says Thierry Wasser.

He goes on to say, “There is also joyful and sunny sambac jasmine, which the women that I met in India wear in their hair, offer to the gods in temples or quite simply give as a gift to honour someone, a generous flower that creates connections, as women do so well. Carla lavender shakes up the sensuality of the vanilla. Often associated with a masculine register in perfumery, lavender gives Mon Guerlain its uprightness, simplicity and soundness, in short, its truthfulness and completes the portrait of today’s woman painted by Mon Guerlain.”

Once again, an exceptional and rare lavender was found, with unique fragrance properties that live up to the Guerlain Perfumer’s expectations!

Mon Guerlain is a tribute to today’s femininity- a strong, free and sensual Woman.
