Miu Miu continues its expansion in Korea with a new store opening on Cheongdam-dong, the city’s most prestigious shopping thoroughfare.

Arranged over two storeys, and with a total surface area of approximately 460 square metres, the space is dedicated to the display of accessory, bag, footwear and ready-to- wear collections.

The façade of the store is clad in Miu Miu’s iconic perforated metal curtain. On one side of the building this frames an imposing entrance and window; on the other, a large light box.

Inside, the image of Miu Miu’s retail environment is renewed: the gold damask that has by now become an instantly recognisable brand signature is here sky-blue. Both ceiling and carpet are in that same shade creating a coherent interior that is both intimate and contemporary.

The ground floor is home to bags, accessories and shoes. Walls are covered in floor-to- ceiling mirrors and the aforementioned damask inset with display niches that showcase product at its best.

Visitors reach the first floor, principally dedicated to ready-to-wear, via an elegant black marble staircase. Damask walls, polished steel rails and mirrors appear both opulent and modern.

Rooms are finished with centrally placed glass tables and lounge areas that ensure a rich and quintessentially feminine atmosphere throughout.
