During the last few months while friends vacationed, Marc Jacobs Beauty took a holiday in their heads and went somewhere- twisting fantasy into reality, through exaggerated, decadent and exotic sportswear silhouettes. This collection is the remaining of seasons past somewhere beyond the urban landscape of New York City.

The Runway Look

Makeup:

For the Marc Jacobs Beauty Spring/Summer 2018 beauty look, lead Makeup Artist Diane Kendal created a strong ‘Blacquer eye’ which featured layered black formulas in different variations of a winged eye, based on individual eye shape. The rest of the look focused on fresh, luminous skin and natural, nude lips to complement the clothing and hair looks this season.

Nails:

Marc Jacobs considers makeup and nails to be essential components of great style. For this season’s nail look, lead manicurist Jin Soon Choi created polished fresh manicures and pedicures in a variety of new Enamored polish in orange, pink and coral shades, as well as one of Marc’s favourite existing Blacquer shade. For the manicures, in true Marc fashion, the look was perfectly imperfect-mimicking a grown-out manicure by starting polish application slightly above the cuticle.
