Italian luxury fashion house Fendi opened its new boutique on the first floor of the Dubai Mall Fashion Avenue. Perfectly reflecting Fendi’s DNA, the boutique presents both Women’s and Men’s leather goods, ready-to wear and accessories. The grand floor to ceiling window façade, takes on the natural light of the Fashion Avenue atrium, creating a beautifully imposing entrance.

The precious façade composition of light boxes with metal framing and champagne metal mesh, elegantly composes a vertical element that distinguishes the evolution of the new architectural concept: a tribute to strength and femininity.  The imposing, yet warm space is divided into six areas.  The first two areas of the boutique are dedicated to women’s bag and accessories, featuring exceptional pieces, designed for the opening.  As guests walk into the boutique, their eye is immediately drawn to FENDI’s signature Spike Wall – one of the most iconic displays of the FENDI stores, with approx. 21,000 spikes placed by hand, creating a visual effect where the bags resemble trophies and matter seems to disappear in a cloud of shining lights.  With a spotlight on FENDI’s icons, the new boutique also features archive Fur Tablets, demonstrating FENDI’s unique savoir faire.

As guests experience the next two rooms on the left, the Fendi architectural story is expressed through a unique choice of materials and objects.  The Modula Sofa Design by Jasper Morrison and feminine tables designed by Cristina Celestino, invite guests to spend time in the women’s shoe and ready-to-wear areas.  The left side of the boutique is dedicated to men, marked with a peg wall installation, designed by Dimore Studio; only to be boldly complimented two robust portals in travertine.

A private enclave, hidden with sliding champagne hued mesh doors, features one of Fendi’s greatest gems, Fendi Fur.  The special space can be closed off to greet VIP clients or opened up to display Fendi’s fur mastery.

True to the spirit of the brand, in constant balance between tradition and innovation, Fendi’s new boutique in The Dubai Mall, represents a harmonious dialogue between the brand’s Roman heritage and the modernity of avant-garde design and art.
