As Cheval Blanc Courchevel prepares to open for its 10th season, the entire collection of Maisons join in the celebrations. In 2006 on a sunny winters’ day, ten years ago Cheval Blanc Courchevel opened its first Maison and since then has been creating unforgettable memories for guests in an undisturbed and utterly unique Alpine utopia.

Since its conception, the Maison continues its commitment to perfecting, year after year, an uncompromised experience to its many loyal guests, considered members of the Cheval Blanc family. Throughout this sparkling decade, Cheval Blanc has truly redefined the standards of a stay at altitude, surpassing expectations with boldness and innovation.

To commemorate it’s tenth anniversary, the Maison’s creative talents will unveil a series of surprises to delight every sense, from reaching new Culinary heights to stunning new memorable fragrances, guests will leave inspired.

On 12th December, the Maison will celebrate its anniversary with an invitation to a dinner inspired by the signature colours of every Cheval Blanc Maison: pop yellow for sun basked Randheli, taupe for the alpine stones of Courchevel, and the blush pink for the evening sunset of St-Barth.

For this tenth Christmas celebrated by Cheval Blanc Courchevel, the pastry chefs from the three Cheval Blanc Maisons have imagined a Bûche de Noël cake adorned with sparkling candy bubbles, with touches of yellow, taupe and blush pink, reminiscent of the Maison’s iconic shades to celebrate the festive season with a touch of glamour.

New Season Adventure Experiences
A new collection of experiences, organised down to the to the very last detail awaits guests looking for adventures with family and friends that will foster lifelong magical mountain memories.

Drinks Under the Stars
Snowmobiles are prepared outside the Maison at 6:00 pm, ready to whisk guests up the snow-covered mountains to the very top where they are met by the canvas of a star-lit sky. The thrilling winter escapade, designed by the Majordomes, is a true Alpine adventure for guests, suitably ending with a tasting of Dom Pérignon champagne and canapés imagined by chef Yannick Alléno. Wrapped in cashmere tartans, surrounded by the flickering light of candles, with heads in the skies, boots in the snow and a touch of the ambience of Le Bar, this is a truly unforgettable Cheval Blanc experience. The journey back to the Maison, weaving through forest pines, is a perfect end to a snow-white evening. A signature candle, handed as a departing gift, will forever bring back memories of this adventure in the heart of the Trois Vallées.

Safari Snow Shoot
Set out like a true hunter in search of animal tracks that will lead to some precious stills caught on film. Follow the clues left on the powdered snow and discover birds, squirrels and woodchucks, and sometimes even goats and fawns! This snowy treasure hunt is led by the Maison’s winter guide photographer who helps guests capture their very own exceptional shots. The guide leads blossoming photographers in the expedition, revealing the stories that lie within the mountains, describing the unique identities of every peak and summit, as well as all the habits of the alpine animals. The quest for the perfect picture is on! Upon return to the Maison, the Alchemists await little photographers with the plush toys of the very animals they have spotted on the safari. The next day, guests are invited to enjoy animal-shaped biscuits and the Maison’s signature hot chocolate during a private viewing of their very own photographic masterpieces in the cosy setting of the screening room.

Cheval Blanc Bootcamp
The Maison is undoubtedly a haven of rest and unparalleled bliss. It also a perfect rendez-vous for sports addicts thanks to its dedicated fitness programme. Designed as a individual journey, guests emerge transformed and revived. With the dedicated support of a fitness Ambassadeur, guests begin the journey with an indoor warm-up using TRX straps. This is followed by a stop at the Maison’s Ski Service, equipped with a training backpack, for an endurance-testing routine intertwining winding slaloms and rope-assisted climbing, guaranteed to revitalise! This odyssey of the mind and body ends with gentle rejuvenation – a moment of well-being and recovery in the sauna. A Cheval Blanc vitality elixir and goji berry energy bar is served to end this intense training with a touch of sweetness.

Altitude Attitude
The Extreme Altitude experience has been conceived to never be forgotten. It is an intensive yet relaxing way to explore the beauty of the nature surrounding the Maison. Guests are invited on a sporty expedition at the top of the mountains – at an altitude of 2,730 metres – for an adventure beginning at extreme height and ending in the welcoming Maison. Beginning with a booster shot of freshly pressed juices served at the peak of La Saulire, the highest point in Courchevel, skis and poles are pointed straight down the slopes, wings of the glider are prepared to catch the wind as the explorer seamlessly flies in the sky. For fifteen minutes, ski-gliders soar through the alpine air, landing gently at the Maison in a fluffy bank of snow where dedicated Ambassadeurs have prepared signature 84% cacao hot chocolates and gourmandise delicacies by Chef Yannick Alléno. Then, time for a blissful moment of repose at the Cheval Blanc Spa to unwind the adrenaline-fueled muscles before returning to their rooms to find Guillaume Apollinaire’s “L’Avion” poem. And why not end the day with a private screening of your leap of faith over a private cocktail in the company of friends and family?
