Salvatore Ferragamo’s new fragrance is a concentration of modern femininity, with ‘Amo’ being Italian for ‘I love’. Demonstrating itself as a declaration of a down-to-earth, free-spirited young woman, who is ready to seize every opportunity that the world has to offer, and leave her everlasting mark. This is a woman who acts instinctively, dares, and seduces.
Starring in the ultra-feminine campaign is renowned model and actress, Suki Waterhouse, as the face of the fragrance. An international jet setter and a young woman of versatile talent, she embodies the passionate and lively spirit of Amo Ferragamo. Behind the camera there is another exceptional woman: Ellen von Unwerth, photographer and interpreter of femininity, par excellence. The campaign was shot in Florence, the hometown of the Maison Salvatore Ferragamo, it is an ode to beauty, love of life and self-knowledge, presented in an extraordinary story of many episodes, in which Suki Waterhouse says what she loves, and what women of today love.
Inevitably, then, she says out loud: Amo Ferragamo! I love Ferragamo! Amo Ferragamo is a daring, modern accord of glamour and passion. The fragrance opens with an explosive personality: the top notes are marked by an Italian bitter ccord with blackcurrant and rosemary. The heart is light and feminine as a flower, where Jasmine sambac, melts with the brightness of ate absolute and hubarb. The dry down finishes with a woody sweetness. The unique sensuality of Amo Ferragamo, stems from its delicate blend of white vanilla tahitensis absolute, abrox and sandalwood.
The Amo Ferragamo bottle is both simple and extraordinary, the elegant lines replicate those of traditional Italian perfume bottles from generations ago. The bottle reveals its complexity, crafted with a subtle embossing that runs from the neck to the cap, and features a texture composed of tiny prisms, giving it a harmonious shape. Painted with a special shimmering polish, it reflects the light as well as Salvatore Ferragamo’s deep passion for high-quality materials, those that can be worked from a natural, raw state into a unique, precious object through artisan ingenuity and creativity.
A concentration of young femininity, Amo, Salvatore Ferragamo.
