Taking its name from the initials of Artistic Director Donatella Versace, the DV ONE made its debut on the A/W17 Versace catwalk. It’s a 21st century take on the structured frame bag, with a sophisticated flap closure that holds two concertina-like pockets.

Its circular metallic round fastening takes its shape from the ceiling of the Pantheon in Rome, with a clasp crowned by a three-dimensional Medusa, the eternal symbol of Versace. DV One is crafted from the most precious box calf, which contrasts with the suede that lines the outside of its two pockets. DV One comes in so many variations of colours: the leather and suede can match tone-on-tone, or the colours can pop in vivid contrasts.

Every single detail is considered. DV One is lined in the softest lamb’s leather, with a middle zipper that gives access to the two pockets within. As well as its handle, there’s a shoulder strap for a contemporary twist. From the DV One hangs leather charm and key ring complete with a stitched ‘V’.

The DV One opens up a whole new world. A special edition is rendered in Croco, while another style is covered in boldly coloured 3D flowers. Colour combinations offer endless possibilities.
