Driven by the essential tenets of excellence and craftsmanship, and enhanced by a strong focus on modern creativity, the new Panthère de Cartier styles are an expression of pure style and sophistication, where the signature panther head is fashioned through the handmade jewellery techniques that are de rigueur at the French Maison.
The iconic symbol, first shaped on Cartier’s jewellery masterpieces as an homage to Jeanne Toussaint, crowns the lightweight and versatile women’s frames finished in gold, platinum and ruthenium or made of sharp combinations of metal and acetate.
In the Panthère pillar style, the iconic feline head drawn from Cartier’s jewellery pieces becomes a 3D decorative detail that adds modern fascination to the striking design. Created for assertive and audacious women, this round half-rim shape features the Panthère de Cartier crowning both sides of the lenses.
This new rimless shield style features the emblematic Panthère de Cartier head on both sides of the lenses, bestowing modern design with a sculptural 3D jewel touch enlivened by onyx-inspired hand-lacquered eyes and nose in black. The softly rectangular shape boasts an extremely light and flexible structure, resistant to high tension.
The iconic Panthère de Cartier purrs with feminine allure on the modern cat-eye shape in acetate. The dense contours of the frame are punctuated with the jewel feline head on both sides of the lenses, polished with black hand-lacquered eyes and nose recalling the lavishness of onyx.
