Designed in the Middle East, about the Middle East, incorporating Islamic embroidery patterns and museum pieces; this collection of scarves by Kate Toledo is a reincarnation of her 2012 Dubai painting exhibition ‘Reflections of Islamic Splendour’.

Kate has transposed her distinctive paintings into a series of 90x90cm silk scarves, printed in Europe paying homage to the process of translating the past and present visual language of the regions’ heritage. All the scarves are printed on silk twill 14 and have a hand rolled boarder.
